  1. Describe key computational advantages and physical limitations of the moving coordinate system transformation applied to the acoustic wave equation in Claerbout's paper.

  2. Derive 3D acoustic wave equation using the Lorentz "moving-coordinate" transformation (see below). From this transformation, deduce the speed limit of acoustic waves propagating in x direction in a homogeneous neutron star. Deduce some interesting properties about relativistic limits of stress-strain field associated with relativistic wave propagation.
